Alexandra Johnes is an American documentary film producer and former actress. She is known for her work as a producer on films such as The Square, Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, and Doubletime, collaborating with directors like Alex Gibney, Eugene Jarecki, and Jehane Noujaim. Johnes received a Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 for producing Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God. In her acting career, she starred as the Childlike Empress in The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter and portrayed Phoebe in Zelly and Me, alongside Isabella Rossellini and David Lynch. Johnes also made guest appearances on shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. She graduated with a BFA from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (NYU) and managed development and production at Jigsaw Productions for Academy Award-winning director Alex Gibney from 2007 to 2012.
