She gained recognition for portraying Alexandra Borgia on the drama series Law & Order. Parisse began her acting career on the soap opera As the World Turns, where she played the character Julia Snyder and received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Parisse grew up in Mercer Island, Washington, and attended Mercer Island High School. She later moved to New York City to study theater at Fordham University.
