Colin McCredie Biography
Colin McCredie (born 8 June 1972) is a Scottish actor known for his roles in various films and TV shows. He was born in Dumbarton, Scotland and grew up in Perth. McCredie started acting as a child at Perth Theatre and later attended the Scottish Youth Theatre. He trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, graduating in 1993. McCredie is best known for his role as DC Stuart Fraser in the STV drama Taggart, where he appeared in over 75 episodes from 1995 to 2010. He also played Nick Morrison in the BBC Scotland Soap Opera River City. McCredie is a patron of the Scottish Youth Theatre and a supporter of St Johnstone, his hometown football team.
