Jessica Lucas is a Canadian actress known for her roles in television and film. Born on September 24, 1985 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Lucas began acting at a young age and trained with the Children's Arts Theatre School in Toronto. She gained recognition for her recurring role as Bekka Lawrence in the Canadian teen drama series Edgemont, and later became a series regular on the show. Lucas has also appeared in popular TV shows such as Melrose Place, Cult, and Gotham. In addition to her television work, she has starred in films like The Covenant, Cloverfield, and Evil Dead. Lucas also appeared in Coldplay's music video for the song "True Love" in 2014. In April 2017, she announced her engagement to butcher Alex Jermasek.
