Born on March 23, 1992, Irving was selected as the first overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2011 NBA draft. Known for his exceptional ball-handling skills, Irving has been named an eight-time All-Star and has been a three-time member of the All-NBA Team. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils before making his professional debut. In 2016, Irving made the game-winning three-point shot in the NBA Finals, helping the Cavaliers secure their first-ever championship. After playing for the Boston Celtics, Irving joined the Mavericks in 2021.
