Lance R. Guest is an American film and television actor, born on July 21, 1960. He gained a serious interest in acting during his time at Saratoga High School and pursued theater as a major at UCLA. Guest has appeared in numerous theatrical films, including Halloween II (1981) alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Neil Simon's I Ought to Be in Pictures. However, his most notable role came in 1984 as Alex Rogan in the science fiction film The Last Starfighter, where he also portrayed the robot Beta. He has also starred in Jaws: The Revenge (1987) and Stepsister from Planet Weird (2000), where he played Cosmo Cola. On television, Guest had starring roles in Lou Grant (1981-1982) and Knots Landing (1991), and has made guest appearances on shows like St. Elsewhere and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
