He is best known for his roles in film and television, including his portrayal of Lucien Dubenko in the popular television series ER from 2004 to 2009 and Sam Gilroy in the Taken film series from 2008 to 2014. Orser began his career with small roles on various shows such as The Golden Girls, Cheers, and The X-Files. He gained recognition for his performances in Seven (1995) and Alien Resurrection (1997).
