Mark Heap is an English actor and comedian, known for his roles in various television comedies. He was born on May 13, 1957, in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, India, to an English father and American mother. Heap began his acting career in the 1980s as a member of the touring company Medieval Players, which specialized in medieval and early modern theater. He later joined the street theater duo The Two Marks. Heap gained recognition for his roles in TV shows like Brass Eye, Big Train, Spaced, Jam, Green Wing, Friday Night Dinner, Upstart Crow, The World's End, and Benidorm. He has also starred in the BBC sketch show Big Train alongside other notable comedy stars.
