    Michael Wolff (born August 27, 1953) is an American journalist, columnist, and contributor to USA Today, The Hollywood Reporter, and the UK edition of GQ. He is also a bestselling author, having written seven books, including Burn Rate (1998) about his dot-com company and The Man Who Owns the News (2008), a biography of Rupert Murdoch. Wolff co-founded the news aggregation website Newser and previously served as editor of Adweek. His most notable work, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House (2018), became a New York Times number-one bestseller, offering unflattering insights into Donald Trump's presidency. Wolff has since published two more books as part of a Trump trilogy, Siege (2019) and Landslide (2021).
