Randall Duk Kim (born September 24, 1943) is an American actor known for his work in movies and TV shows. He is a co-founder of the American Players Theatre. Kim was born in Hawaii to a fundamentalist Baptist family of Chinese and Korean descent. He developed a passion for acting as a child, inspired by seeing the musical Oklahoma! and watching plays at the University of Hawaii. In 1964, Kim moved to New York City to pursue an acting career.
