Robert Culp Biography
Robert Culp (August 16, 1930 – March 24, 2010) was an American actor and screenwriter, best known for his work in television. He gained international recognition for his role as Kelly Robinson on the espionage series I Spy (1965–1968), alongside Bill Cosby. Prior to that, Culp starred as Texas Ranger Hoby Gilman on the CBS/Four Star Western series Trackdown (1957–1959). In the 1980s, he returned to television as FBI Agent Bill Maxwell on The Greatest American Hero. Culp also had a recurring role as Warren Whelan on Everybody Loves Raymond. With a career spanning over 50 years, he gave hundreds of performances and was a voice actor for various computer games, including Half-Life 2.
