Roger E. Mosley Biography
Roger E. Mosley (December 18, 1938 – August 7, 2022) was an American actor, director, and writer. He is best known for his role as Theodore 'T.C.' Calvin, the helicopter pilot, in the CBS television series Magnum, P.I. which aired from 1980 to 1988. Mosley was born and raised in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, and attended Jordan High School. In addition to his television work, he appeared in the 1973 film Terminal Island alongside Phyllis Davis, Don Marshall, Ena Hartman, and Tom Selleck. Mosley also founded the Watts Repertory Company in 1974. His notable film role was portraying the title character in the 1976 film Leadbelly, a biography of the musician directed by Gordon Parks.
