Shira Haas (שירה האס; born May 11, 1995) is an Israeli actress known for her roles in local film and television. She has won two Israeli Ophir Awards and received five nominations since 2014. In 2020, Haas gained international recognition for her portrayal of Esty Shapiro in the Netflix miniseries Unorthodox, earning nominations for a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She also won the Tribeca Film Festival Award for Best International Actress for her performance in the Israeli drama film Asia (2020). Haas was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a secular Jewish family with Ashkenazi Jewish descent. She has two grandparents who are Holocaust survivors.
