    Ambika Mod Biography
    Ambika Bhakti Mod is a British actress, comedian, and writer. Born in 1995/1996, she is best known for her role as Shruti Acharya in the BBC drama This is Going to Hurt. Mod grew up in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire and attended Dame Alice Owen's School. She discovered her passion for acting and sketch comedy while studying at St Mary's College, Durham. Mod performed at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival with the university's Revue and served as the troupe's President in 2017. She is also a regular performer at London's The Free Association, both in improvised comedy and as part of the duo Megan from HR. Additionally, Mod has worked as a personal assistant at Condé Nast while pursuing her comedy career.
