Douglas Hodge is an English actor, director, and musician born on February 25, 1960. He has had a successful career in theatre, television, and film. Hodge has appeared in movies such as Robin Hood (2010), Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return, Diana (2013), Joker, and Lost in Space (2019). He has also made television appearances in Penny Dreadful (2016), Catastrophe (2018), and The Great (2020–2023). Hodge began his acting career in theatre, performing in plays by Harold Pinter, including No Man's Land, Moonlight, A Kind of Alaska, The Lover, and The Collection. Despite leaving the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before graduating, Hodge pursued his passion for acting and achieved great success.
