    Jason Ralph is an American actor and theater producer, born on April 7, 1986, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He began his career in theater, performing in Broadway and off-Broadway productions such as Peter and the Starcatcher and The Woodsman, which he also produced. From 2015 to 2019, Ralph gained recognition for his role as Quentin Coldwater in the Syfy television series The Magicians. He has also had recurring roles on shows like Aquarius and Younger. Ralph attended McKinney High School in Texas and later studied acting at Collin College before graduating with a BFA degree from the State University of New York at Purchase. He co-founded the theater company Strangemen & Co. and served as its artistic director, producing notable plays including the Obie Award-winning production of The Woodsman.
