Michael Culkin Biography
Michael Culkin (born 2 July 1954) is an English theatre, film, and television actor. He is known for his role as Judge Buller in the BBC drama Garrow's Law. Culkin appeared as Rab Butler in the first two seasons of The Crown, and in The Iron Lady alongside Meryl Streep. He also acted opposite Johnny Depp in Mortdecai and worked with Hugh Grant in A Very English Scandal, portraying the Conservative politician Reginald Maudling. Culkin appeared in two seasons of Poldark as Horace Treneglos and is set to return in the fourth season. With extensive credits on BBC and ITV Television, Culkin has also performed at the National Theatre and in the West End, starring alongside Maggie Smith in Alan Bennett's The Lady in the Van. He is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Culkin resides in Thaxted, Essex, London, and Norfolk, and is unmarried. He shares his homes with several dogs and a llama.
